I awoke to another 8 inches of wet snow yesterday. After feeding the horses, I took my three dogs Max, Zeus, and Abbey skate skiing down the county road. We trekked about 7 miles in all, during which time I came to conclude that there are more than enough political pundits and kibitzers in the blog sphere, therefore I am taking this blog in a new direction, one that represents the country lifestyle we have come to cherish here at the Tipi Wind Ranch. Content previously described in the header will unfold gradually with the changing of the seasons. I’m hoping you will tune in frequently.

A seven mile run for my big dogs is essential for their total wellness. Like Cesar Millan says in his best seller Cesar’s Way: exercise, discipline, affection, and food, in that order; makes for well adjusted dog. It seems to have a profound effect on my attitude as well.

  1. Sounds like a beautiful area. Looking forward to hearing more about it.

  2. Cesar Millan is a brilliant man. Most of what he teaches is just plain common sense. Too bad there are so many people out there that do not share or understand the true role of a dog and its need to be a part of the pack. If some of this was used on the children today maybe there would not be so many issues with them either.
