The word fair or fairness or most fair is at best subjectively ambiguous. It is custom tailored for the moral relativists in our midst. Of lately, this malleable word is used as a ploy, providing cannon fodder for the left’s mission of disseminating class warfare.
Ask any misguided altruist to explain, how is it moral to confiscate the private property (wealth) of one man then surrender it to another. Chances are the word fair will creep into their specious rationalization. Our illustrious president used the word 14 times in a campaign speech at a high school recently, appealing to that level of maturity characteristic of public school indoctrination.
Advocating fairness, which in this context happens to be immoral (sacrificing one’s individual rights while expanding the power of the state) is this president’s moral failing, consecrated in a political ideology of socialism, one which boarders on insanity, repeating the same socialistic failures over and over while anticipating a different outcome.
If his argument had any merit, he wouldn’t have to repeat the word fair fourteen times; apparently he’s banking on the age old axiom: If one repeats a falsehood over and over, others will come to believe it as true.

The word Progressive, when applied to the ideology of the left, means Socialism: Marxist Socialism to be exact. The word progressive lends the impression of advancement forward with some vision for the future; this is far too kind a word to describe the left. It is so typical of the left to adopt this word in an attempt to cloak their deeds, which happen to be less than desirable. A march toward socialism is not progress. Totalitarianism has been around since the dawn of civilization trying to resurrect socialistic disasters of historic proportion is regressive, not progressive.
To ascribe the word progressive to define the leftist ideology is to bolster all that is putrefied; it’s like glorifying progressive malignant cancer. Hey, I have a progressive idea, let’s call them what they are (Marxist Socialists) and maybe, if we repeat this truth over and over, people will come to adopt it as true. Wouldn’t that be a refreshing change? Anecdotal Objectivist

Crony Capitalism: this little gem of a misnomer is designed to beguile the most impressionable amongst us. Literal Translation = malfeasance and Corruption.
It’s amazing how all economic government failures are blamed on Capitalism. Truth is capitalism, laisser-faire capitalism, has never existed in the history of theUnited States. What we have is a bastardized mixed economy where lobbyists bribe politicians with campaign contributions, kick backs, low interest real-estate loans ect. In return, the government picks industry winners and then showers them with favors like no compete contracts, tax exemptions, favorable regulations, and monopolistic privileges, all of which have absolutely nothing to do with capitalism.

The time has come for me to change the format of this blog. I have always contended that the battle I wage is a philosophical one, and the best way to teach, the best way to learn, is by example. I hear the voices of fellow objectivist as they apply philosophy to life. Many of their questions arise in the form of predicament stemming from an event or situation. After thirty five years of objective living I am in a position to cognize, categorize, analyze, commiserate, instigate, and liberate. You see, life is a confidence game, and the only way to grow this powerful asset is by alleviating the contradictions that aggravate our daily lives, this paves the way for mastery of the more abstract particulars that elevate us as human beings.
These days, for me, the only contradiction that exists is how to live a rational life in an irrational world. This is no easy task. Proper philosophy is the key and objectivism is the release. However, this demands discipline, discipline most people cannot fathom, nor commit, for they lack the necessary motivation required to develop their potential. It is my hope that during the course of this production, some individuals will grasp the primary concepts of objectivism, take the initiative and benefit, for they have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
What I’m offering is a rich lifestyle, one I have chosen for myself and those who wish to join me on this life walk. The next time you see this blog it will contain what I dub The Misnomer of the Week. Here I will isolate the contentious nomenclature changes employed by irrational pragmatists; these paragons of duplicity who obfuscate reality and perpetuate emotional subjectivism in order to deceive the impressionable amongst us. Following this, there will be a link to my podcast which will be an evolving collection of anecdotes pertaining to objectivism. Here at the Tipi Wind Ranch you can expect to find literature, philosophy, horsemanship, gardening, farming, cooking, adventure, nature, and much more, as reality commands center stage in this wilderness oasis we call home.
